The game is a 2D sidescrolling pltaformer that features 3d graphics, the levels are populated with enemies that Casper can defeat by shooting Ectoplasmic energy from his hands, However defeating the enemies is not necesary to clear the levels, The fliendly Ghost is also able to flight by a limited amount of time which is necesary to pass through some of the plataforming sections, Scattered around each level are Cristal shards, collecting all of them unlocks an extra level, and the game's true ending.There are some minigames presented by The ghostly trio that serve as a Way to earn extra lives.
